COLOUR BUSSING
2010

This unique and interesting Ceremony will take place in the Town Hall on the evening of Thursday 10th June.  The Chair will be taken by the Hon. Provost at 7.00 p.m. and all ticket-holders, including Cornet’s Supporters, must be seated no later than 6.45 p.m.



Tying of Ribbons on the “1514 Memorial” will take place after the Proclamation at approximately 8.20 p.m.

The Cornet’s Walk around the Burgh will take place immediately after and members of the public are especially requested to support and accompany their Cornet.

Residents wishing Colour Bussing tickets, priced £5.00 (gallery) and £6.00, should make written application by POSTCARD  ONLY to their undernoted representatives of the Committee in their respective Wards on or before Saturday 9th May.  Postcards should state full name and address of applicant and also price of ticket desired.  Two seats are allocated per household.  Past successful applicants must have a three year lapse.

All interested are invited to attend the ballot for tickets in the Town Hall on (TBC for 2010) at 7.30 p.m.  Tickets will then be on sale at the front offices of the Town Hall on (TBC for 2010) from 10.30 to 11.30 a.m.

The Cornet will issue tickets for the Supporters Gallery at the Colour Bussing in St. Leonard’s Hut on the morning of (TBC for 2010).
